I am so excited!! Only 2 more days, and we will be at CBR!! (Sorry to take up the thread space or possibly being OT, but I knew you guys would understand.)

Everything I have read about CBR has suggested requesting a corner room. My aunt will be joinging us and I thought it would be great to have connecting rooms (hoping DH and I can go out one night and she can watch little one) - is it possible to have both a corner and connecting room?

Yes it is possible to have a corner room and a connecting in one.

Just got back from 8 wonderful days at CBR. We requested first floor Aruba and payed for waterview. We got room 5123 which was perfect. Room 5124 was the first room off of the bridge, so we were next. They were connecting for the above poster who was asking about connecting corner rooms. It was so nice walking out of the room right to the bridge. We caught the bus at Old Port Royale because the walk across the bridge was shorter than the walk across the parking lot. The room was okay, but the feel of the resort was perfect. Our mousekeeper was very good, but we never got a towel animal even with daily tipping. It's okay though, because we got extra coffee and soap!

My only complaint was the people walking on the path around the lake. I ran every morning and tried to get out there super early (6:00), but there were always at least 3 or 4 families who got mad when I asked them to scoot a little bit so I could run by! Crazy people!

I would definately stay here again, although I'm trying to talk hubby into the Grand Floridian for our next trip!

I will tell you Kim Raye! My mom got sick and we had to cancelled the disney trip last week and I hope to stay in CBR for May or October 2010!

It's cancelled because I had the flu! That's why we cancelled that trip for January! Instead our family are going to celebrate Sophie's birthday in October! I hope you understand!

Yes they do!!! I missed it when we stayed at POFQ in Dec. So we are going back to CBR in August and I can't wait!!!!

That's one of the things we really like about the CBR. When we were there in August, they had music playing around Old Port Royale and I think I remember there being some music piped onto the island.

Tell me it's not so! I heard there are cheer competitions scheduled for the end of April and they'll be staying at the AllStars and at CBR! What effect will this have on bus schedules and other resort services? Has anyone ever stayed at a resort while this kind of stuff is going on?

My DH and I (no kids this time ) will be staying at CBR for the first time - one week from today!! I've read through the thread, but if anyone has any tips, I'll take them! Things like best food in food court, best bus stop, best place to see little critters, etc.
