-I would call Disney and have them note in the reservation:
CONNECTING rooms (not adjoining) connecting rooms have the door.
-I would have them link the reservations together by having them put a "travel with" note. such as traveling with Mr. & Mrs John Smith, booking #1234567
-I would request booking #1 & booking #2 for connecting rooms. Booking #3 to be adjoining to booking #1&2.

Thank you! I will call and add this to our ressie's thanks!

We will be at CBR in Jul and we have three preferred rooms booked. We are a grand gathering and I hope that this means we will get rooms close togther. With that being said we really do need two of the three rooms adjoining as we are planning to have the teenage boys in one of our rooms and want a connecting room with them. When should I contact Disney to request adjoining rooms for at least two of the rooms, I don't suppose three rooms can be adjoining? Should I also request that the three rooms be located together.

Thanks
ASK for 2 adjoining rooms of the 3! While I have No advice here, just past experience from a GG - we had 5 rooms (preferred) and made NO requests on adjoining/closeness - we were all in Trinidad Preferred. 2 rooms X 2 connected - one of those connecting rooms was NOT needed, but was fun/silly one morning. The other connecting room was needed! We had some people sick, who needed Gramma assistance. ;) The 5th room, solo, was adjoining to one set of connecting rooms. All in all, we were in the same preferred village, but 2/5 in one building and 3/5 in another. No requests were made.

Good luck! Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

When staying at CBR I want to be near Old Port Royale w/out paying for a preferred location. I requested to stay in Martinique section, bldg #22.
Do you think this is a good location or should I have requested something different?

For all of my fellow CBR lovers:

We'll be there in 20 days! :cool1:

25 Days and counting..thank you for the link to the video..we can hardly wait. We still havnt told the kids yet, hanging off till the last week to do that. This is out first time to CBR and to a moderate, we normally can only afford value so this is exciting for us. :woohoo:

Any of the non-preferred buildings in Martinique are good locations. We've stayed in preferred twice and in a non-preferred once (Bldg. 23). We've also been in Jamaica 41 and it was a good location.

We leave one month from tomorrow!!pirate: Staying in a pirate room. so excited!

I am going to be calling to add a night to our ressie. I hate calling CRO, all of the prompts and you never know who you are going to get on the other end..

Anyhow, i was going to make sure to put our bldg request in. We have preferred booked, is there really much difference betwen Martinique 25 or 26?

thanks

Very little difference in location. 25 is about a 30 or 45 second farther walk from Old Port Royale than 26. You won't be disappointed with any of the 6 preferred location buildings.

Awesome!! Thanks I am sooo excited to know i am going to be in one of those 6 bldgs. It takes alot of the worry away after our 2005 POR stay. We were way in the boonies...:lmao:

Hey everyone! I read on another post that guests cannot use the beaches at CBR! Does this mean you cannot lay out on the sand?

There are lounges on the beaches at CBR for your use. Just no swimming in the lakes. Also remember to keep an eye out for the fire ants here in FL. You won't forget their bite. :(

Thanks for the quick reply! I only wanted to be able to lounge on the sand, wasn't planning on swiming in the lake..god only knows whats swimming around in it! Does bug spray keep those fire ants away?
