Does anyone have experience with these together? I was wondering if the strap interferes with the TV of the seat behind? TIA

I don't, but it shouldn't. If you have experience with the harness and can describe how it goes around the back of the seat, I can tell you if it would interfere with the tv screen.

I don't have personal experience with this but if you google "Jet blue seat" and click on images in the upper right of the search results you will see pictures of the jet blue seats from the front, back, and side.

You can get the same type of pictures for the cares harness by googling "cares harness."

Based on the pictures it looks like the strap *might* interfere with something -- either the tv or the tray drop down tab. As you can see from the pictures there is virtually no (actually a very small) gap between the end of the tv and the start of the tray tab.

Maybe the belt can go under the tray -- i.e. you drop down the tray to put on the belt and then close the tray over it so that the tray remains usable. [Again, this is a guess not actual experience.]

I found this is exactly where you strap it. I just watched the video for cares harness installation. I guess we are good. I just didnt want it to interfere with the persons TV behind my little one. (I didnt think to book the seat behind her for one of us and they are gone now)

It does show on the video to put down the tray table of the seat behind and strap it on then put the tray back up. I was just thinking beacause of the tv's the tray table may be in a different position than a seat with no tv's.
Here is a link to the video.

I did call Jetblue and they said I could use it. I guess they wouldnt let you if it were going to interfere with another passengers seat.

We just got back from Disney last week flying JetBlue. The CARES worked great and was well below the TV. It actually was close to the bottom of the tray and didn't interfere with anything. We did have to drop the tray on the seat back in order to put the strap on, but otherwise it wasn't in the way. Our son is 30 inches tall, you might need more height depending on your child's height.

One thing I did note, you do want to make sure the strap goes around the seat close to their shoulder height so that the chest straps don't bother their ears and gives a good fit. It took me about 3 minutes to put it on. Best invention in the world for this I think!

I sat behind someone using the harness one time. The mom asked if she could put my tray down for a minute, I said OK, she wrapped it around and then I was able to put the tray back up. It was well below where a TV would be.

I had no problem using CARES on JetBlue. As a courtesy, I always speak to the person in the seat behind me, even if they arrive after me.

Thank you for all the help. We are just back last night and had no problems. We did speak to the people(on the way down a young man and on the way back a little boy) behind us and they were very nice. The people on the way down even helped me to get the harness off at the end of the flight when I was struggling a little to loosen the harness and get it off the seat. One being an off duty JetBlue FA.

Just an FYI. On the way down we put her in the middle seat. The off duty FA said she thought there had been an email that the harness had to go by the window. I asked the FA on duty and they said she didnt have to be by the window. So not sure if that is changing soon. On the way home we were on the Embraer and I put her by the window.

I think some car seats (maybe all, I've never brought one on board) need to go by the window, and some FAs think CARES needs to follow the same rule. It doesn't. However, I usually put it there anyway just because kids like to look out the window.
