Hi guys,

Went to Silver Springs today for a change of place - not the place for kiddies but completely relaxing... no crowds, no hassle, just peace and tranquility.

US yesterday was great, ended up doing IOA as well all in one day - tiring but great fun, Popeye's Bilge Rat Barges gets you unbelievably soaked, but with nice warm tropical water.

Weather is still very much high 80's, had no rain to speak of, and most evenings we're chilling by the pool, much like tonight!

Tomorrow we're off to Busch Gardens - we have their Animal Adventure Tour booked, and we're ready for yet more thrill rides and great scenery.

Wow what a packed day! Sounds like you're having a fab time. Love those Popeye's Bilge Rat Barges - always need new clothes afterwards... Haven't been to Silver Springs since 1992 so maybe we should make the effort next trip. Have a wonderful day at Busch Gardens - we've never made it there but I'd love to do the Animal Adventure tour...

Morning all!

Busch Gardens was great - longest queue was 10 minutes for Rhino Rally! The drive down was pleasant and relaxing, we did it in just over an hour

We did the tour, absolutely fantastic - hand fed the giraffes, got lots of education about the way the animal side of all US parks works with their 'trade-in' program - they all share their livestock and it's all organised thru one organisation to make sure there's no in-breeding etc. Two hour tour, very informative, and great fun too! Got close up with a hippo, giraffes, orangutangs, and fed a white rhino. Our tour guide, Adam, deserves a shout out - he was great!

Weather is still high 80's / low 90's which is lovely and toasty. I'm a bit pink in the shoulders mind you.... ow!

Today we're having a relaxing day, shopping along International Drive, and then off to MGM for our ADR at H&V for 5.20 (Fantasmic package). Hmm... you can tell I've been on these boards far too long when a sentence consists mainly of abbreviations...

So, I'm off to get some breakfast from Perkins (can't be bothered to make my own today, too chilled!), then off shopping, so I'll catch y'all later!

We had a great day yesterday doing some shopping and seeing fantasmic - never had such a deafening silence from my group

Today we're off to Discovery Cove to play with the fishes, and then this evening to Arabian Nights.
