This trip will be 8 adults for 10 days/9 nights at Pop Century this coming December. Several of our group have never been on a real trip to WDW before (meaning more than just a couple of unplanned days), so I want to make it extra special and full of variety for them! This is also my first time using the Dining Plan, so that has me second guessing myself even more!! Here's our plan:

DAY ONE (12/7): Epcot
Late morning arrival to Pop
Late Lunch: Sommerfest (8 QS)
Dinner: Yakitori House (share 5 QS)

DAY TWO (12/8): Animal Kingdom

Lunch: Counter Service (8 QS)
Dinner: Cape May Buffet (8 TS)

DAY THREE (12/9): Magic Kingdom
Breakfast: In Room
Lunch: Columbia Harbour House (included with KTTK tour)
Dinner: Kona Cafe (8 TS)

DAY FOUR (12/10): Disney Studios
Breakfast: In Room
Lunch: Counter Service (8 QS)
Dinner: Hollywood & Vine (8 TS)

DAY FIVE (12/11): Magic Kingdom

Dinner: Liberty Tree Tavern (8 TS)

DAY SIX (12/12): Disney Studios

DAY SEVEN (12/13): Animal Kingdom

DAY EIGHT (12/14): Epcot

DAY NINE (12/15): Epcot

DAY TEN (12/16): Magic Kingdom
Breakfast: Everything Pop (pay out of pocket)
Lunch: Counter Service (8 QS)
Leave for home

My calculations show that this uses up all 72 QS and 72 TS credits. We plan to play it by ear with the snack credits, but do know that some will go towards eating in the remaining countries of the WS (Norway, Italy, France and Canada).

Anyone see any glaring problems or have any suggestions?!

Is that a typo or are you really eating at Mama Melrose 2 nights in a row? Why not try 50's PTC. It is great fun, especially with a large party and the food is excellent home cooking comfort food. Keep in mind that the QS options at MGM are not good to put it bluntly!LOL For the DDP a good option and amount of food is at Pizza Planet. Honestly that is about the only decent QS there. You can also use some of your snack credits for a light breakfast for things like fruit, or less nutritious things like a box of donuts, or small box of cereal and milk.

 With you it isnt "Shop till you Drop"......it looks like "Eat Till you Throw Up" :rolleyes1

Late Lunch: Sommerfest (8 QS)Really good food
Dinner: Yakitori House (share 5 QS)If you liked dark chicken thigh neat that is very fatty go for it

Dinner: Cape May Buffet (8 TS)This is a favorite of ours, very good food...I do not eat the shellfish but DH says it is delish and I love all the other foods on the buffet

Dinner: Hollywood & Vine (8 TS)Poor quality service mixed with terrible foods means we will never dine there again

Dinner: Mama Melrose (8 TS)Bland food that was served lukewarm, Olive Garden is gourmet compared to this place

Dinner: Tangierine Cafe (share 5 QS)Awesome food at this place and the portions are large enough to share. Try the olive salad, it is very good

Lunch: Lotus Blossom Cafe (share 6 QS)Loved it before the menu change and it is just as great after...try the Peach Oolong Ice Tea, very refreshing

Thanks for your replies Nicki! I've never been to most of the places that you picked out, but I have been to Hollywood & Vine and it's one of our family favorites. Interesting to get such dissenting opinions on the same place.
