Care Care Center or Dolphin?

We will be needing a rental car from June 6-10th mid-stay during our trip. We will be staying at Pop Century, returning after the road trip to All Star Movies. Does anyone have a suggestion if we should pick up/drop off at the car care center or Dolphin? The shuttle for Car Care Center will pick us up at the front desk of Pop right if we choose to go that route? Thanks!

I would suggest Car Care Center, because they have a shuttle that will pick you up. This way, you wont have to take a bus to DTD or a park and transfer to the Dolphin....

I rented from the car care center in January, and thought the shuttle was very easy and convenient. However, do be aware that the shuttles drop off within minutes of each other, so there is often a line to rent cars there. I would still go that route as opposed to figuring a way to get to the dolphin.

I'm the opposite of everyone - I think it's easiest to pickup or drop off at the Dolphin because you don't have to schedule or rely on a shuttle. I just head to Epcot or MGM for the morning, then walk or boat to the Dolphin, pickup my car and head back to my resort for an afternoon break (or whatever). Drop-off works the opposite way.

Have you found that the rates are high at both places? We are trying to do a one day rental to get to the Sanford airport and they want $55 for the rental. Any ideas on a cheaper way?

I am finding that CCC and Dolphin are higher (by about $35 for our 4 day rental needs) than picking up at the airport. But, the convenience is worth the $35 to us. Are you using the Cosco or Walmart codes? Or you can get 15% off by pre-paying...but the Walmart code is cheaper.

One day rentals are VERY expensive because there a no coupons out there for anything under 3- or 4-day rentals. Sometimes it can be cheaper to rent for the weekend. I currently have a 3-day rental for $65.90 - picking up May 12 at the CCC and returning to the Dolphin May 15. This is using a BJs code and a free weekend day coupon from BJs.

Both the Dolphin and CCC have a Concession Fee that ups the price vs. picking up at MCO.
