Finally, one chapter of the problems within the Church are over. What happens next should be interesting.

My heart goes out to all the victims, whether they be lay people (especially the children) and/or priests.

Definitely past due. . . I still am completely baffled as to why he has not been arrested and charged as an accessory to every case of abuse that occured after he became aware of the original ones and simply covered them up and moved the guilty priest around so he could commit more. . .

That may still happen Willy....and I would not be surprised... These are my thoughts...We received a request from Catholic Charities to contribute...we threw it in the trash... We just got something from our parish requesting money....We ignored it...We do contribute weekly in the collection box, but nothing big.. Actually we made a contribution to the Shrine in Orlando this past year. I think that we are not alone as Catholics doing this.. Now I do think before the Archdioscese of Boston goes bankrupt, maybe they should think about selling some of their properties and paying these people who were so wronged.. Again.. JMO
