Okay i really need help!

At the moment i'm really into dry embossing onto vellum, that's until i get to the point of sticking it down! I have tried everything, foam pads, prit stick, prit roller ball glue, micro dots...the works...but everything shows through! Someone said about using brads, but i can't afford the hammer etc for this...pleaseeeeee i need help!

It just happens that I was in Lakeland today and picked up a craft catalogue. It advertises a product called "WackyTac Vellum Tape" which it says as a repositionable adhesive tape that attaches vellum invisibly. The link for this product is

Needless to say p&p is £3.95 but I'm sure other places do it too!

Thank you so much!!! I'm starting to loose patience with this vellum looks lovely, but it's a pain, make one mistake and thats the end!

You don't need a hammer for brads they're just like a fancy version of the split pin type paper fasteners and they should work for you. Eyelets on the other hand would also work but need the hammer and special fitting tool.

As Libby said you don't need a hammer for brads. If you wanna try them out, go to a stationery shop and pick up some paper fasteners, they work exactly the same but are so much cheaper than in the craft stores.

As for sticking it down, there's a new product in all my crafy shops called "Invisi-dots for Vellum" from the glue dots people. Check out Hobbycraft if you've got one. If you're really struggling I could pick up a packet and post it down for you. PM me if you want me to.

Thanks everyone for your advice! I must have purchased eyelets, although they look really good to use ill have to wait for the hammer....just looking at invisi-dots and wacky tape.
