Caravaning nr DLRP

We are thinking of getting Annual Passports for DLRP. We have our own touring caravan and were considering taking it to holiday in, rather than a hotel.

Has anyone ever taken theirs?

How close by is the nearest site?

We haven't even taken the car over yet, we've flown, but wondered if this would be a more economical way of doing it in the future.

Any advise, links, tips would be very much appreciated.

I have just booked here http://www.caravaning-4vents.fr/ Looks a lovely site, huge pitches too. I have booked via email, spoke to a lovely lady, Agnes (speaks English) and she is sending me a booking confirmation through the post We are getting the Annual passports too, great news that they are extending the offer until november, means both my girls will get a free passport!

This summer we are taking our tent and driving, have drove before but stayed at DCR a couple of years ago. We found it no problem, great roads and travelled through the night so the kids slept which was a bonus!

Roll on end of July, can't wait

We have booked to stay at a mobile home here - http://www.etangs-fleuris.com/en/index.html
They have pitches for mobile homes and tents too. Haven't been yet though so I can't say if it's good or not!

We've stayed at Etangs Fleuris in a static caravan & found it very easy to get to DLP. We stayed in October so didn't use any of the facilities. It is surrounded by fields so you have to travel to the supermarket but there is always Auchan at Val de Europe which sells "everything"
