Caramel shop in Germany

The new caramel shop is considered a regular Disney merchandise shop so discounts may apply. I was able to show my Premium AP for a 20% discount on my caramel popcorn (uh... and cookie.. and cupcake).

I never thought to ask about my AP discount in the regular merchandise shops. My trip is this month and I will definitely be visiting this! Looking sooooo forward to caramel anything!

I had one of the caramel pecan bars - OMG! They are sooooo good! I've never had caramel that good. I can't wait to go back and get some more. I was so glad they opened before my trip was over - I'd gone in Epcot every day since I was staying at BWV, just waiting for the shop to open. Between that and the soft opening of F&W, I was a very happy camper!

It opened on the 30th - the caramel corn is yummy, as is the chewy caramel bar I had.

Oh man, what a horrible time for me to get braces! No popcorn and definitely no caramel for me while we are there. So sad.

I wore braces for 2 years. Just out of them in May. I ate popcorn (careful with the kernals) and SOFT carmel...just not the hard sticky/taffy stuff. Really the only thing I didn't eat on the forbidden foods list is raw carrots and I cut my apples into bite size pieces. I had no issues at all.

Weird question for anyone that has eaten at the new shop - is the caramel there soft or hard? For instance, the caramel/marshmellow and the caramel pecan log. I am getting so excited to go - only two more days at work and then off to go 'home!'

Did someone say they have caramel pecan logs?!!!!!!
Do they have ones with the chocolate fudge centres also? These are my absolute favourite candy in the world and I haven`t been able to find any in Canada.
Gonna keep my fingers crossed for my December trip!

I saw a picture on one of the threads it looks like a caramel 'roll' surronded by marshmallow - I can't wait!!

I did not see any pecan logs. I had a caramel pecan bar, which was like a high quality shortbread cookie, with a half inch of homemade caramel, topped with salted pecans. It was divine!

I also saw caramel "turtles"

The caramel corn is AMAZING. It has that wonderful buttery Werther's taste & freshly made, you can't get any better than that. Also, the small bag is a snack credit.

Mom is diabetic, is there such a thing as sugar free turtles and do they have them there?? Or will she just have to behave- and are the turtles a snack credit and if yes how many do you get for a SC?

The only sugar free items I saw were wrapped caramels - not in the glass case & not turtles.

These were really larger turtles and if they are a snack credit, I imagine you'd only get one.

We went twice on our trip a few weeks ago. The plain caramel was wonderful. We also tried a caramel brownie and cookie and neither were particularly good - both were dry without much flavor.
