Car upgrade

Hi. Me and DW, DS13, DD4 go in January.
We have booked our holiday through Charter travel and got a great deal.
Our car hire is through Budget and we have got an intremediate size car, what kind of car is this likely to be.
I drive a Ford Focus C-Max at home which is big enough and we are going to be taking 3-4 suitcases. Would our hire car be big enough for all luggage and 4 people.
Also if we upgrade would it be cheaper doing here before we go or at the airport when we pick our car up.

In August we got free upgrade with Budget thru USrentacar.co.uk booked intermediate got Full size.
When we got to Tampa airport they gave us an Intermediate (free upgrade is not guaranteed) it was a HHR http://images.google.com/images?sou...esult_group&ct=title&resnum=4&ved=0CBsQsAQwAw
Looked inside and there is no leg room in the back, never got as far as looking at luggage space, DS is 6'3" so no chance he would fit in. Went back in to desk, she had another look and found us a full size eventually.
With intermediate it all depends on model you get, personally I would want full size(size we always have for 3 of us). Check price here to upgrade, if its fair do it. Last thing you want after a 9 hour flight is negotiating a deal with an agent that knows you want it.
