Car Swap in Alamo, any experience??

Hi all
I rented a Convertible in Alamo (hoping to get a mustang) BUT i know it can happen that there are no available convertibles, so what happens then?
There is no option to upgrade, i mean, if you book a convertible i have no idea what would be the upgrade for that..anyway
if you dont find what you are looking for, is it possible to swap cars later or the next day? anyone had that experience ???
i am trying to prepar for whatever comes up...

It's possible. I once select a Chevy HHR and decide the first night I just didn't like it - really poor visibility. I called, and they told me to come back in the morning and change it for another car.
