Car Sorted

Well 3 weeks and 1 day after my 'not my fault' car accident I have a 'nearly' new car. So I am very happy. If only everything could be sorted out this fast. My solictors for the injuroes are red hot and on the case!!!!

Thing is on my new policy for car insurance it says the following
12/99 hit from rear, damage-serious injuries -severe
02/02 hit from rear hit car infront, damage seroius write off, injuries-not fully investigated!!!

Just what is going to happen at my medical - how 'investigated' am I giong to be!!!!

When I had a medical for a compensation claim(work accident) they looked into every visit I had made to the doctors in my adult life, the only exclusion was maternity visits

any earlier problems were weighted against the injuries i.e back pain before gave the conclusion that there may have been a prior problem

it was not a nice experiance, came out feeling like I was trying to claim things worse than they were, and this was with a specialist that was being paid for by me!!

got it all sorted but it takes ages, about 2 years in my case from start to end

sorry to sound so pessimistic, but sometimes it's better to know these things at the beginning

I'm dreading all this - me and the kids have an appointment with a specialist 28th March. I've had intermitent (sp?) lower back pain esp when bending since my accident in November and although the boys were ok my 3yo mentions the accident on a daily basis Gawd knows how long this is going to be drawn out......... The good thing is that I'll finally get my new car March 14th at the latest (fingers crossed).
