Car service to Universal?

Has anyone had experience using Mears or another town car service to get to and from Universal? We will be staying at AoA but would like to go to Universal for one day. We just thought that it would be nice to be picked up at the door and not worry about driving back exhausted at the end of the day.

We used a cab and were very happy with our experience. Cabs can be found waiting for costumers at the front of the lobby. At least that was the case at Coronado Springs. It was $40 each way (we grabbed a cab back and they also were easily available right outside the park exits). We found the cabs to be clean and the drivers to be professional. No complaints. Oh, an we took a cab "van" because we had 6 in our party.

I've used Mears for this very same thing and they were fine. It was something like $14 R/T but it was in 2005 so I'm sure its a little more today but much less than cabs. I made the reservation from my room at ASMo the day before I wanted to go. And then called them like an hour before I wanted to come back for the return trip. They used a shuttle bus and they stop at other resorts usually but I was lucky to be at a resort that it filled up so we were gone 15 mins. after I boarded the shuttle. Good luck
