First time booking car service to Disney. I am leaning towards Tiffany's.
Our flight is a non stop flight landing at 1:20. We will have luggage.
What is a guesstimate on arrival to BLT? I need to have a stroller delivered to us.
Also, we are thinking we'll walk over to MK for an early dinner, at maybe Plaza, and then schedule a couple of FPs then head back to resort. Do you think 4:15 is too early for ADR?
Last, do they tell us what time they'll pick us up to head to MCO, or do we pick the time? We'll have luggage to check, which I haven't done at MCO for many years, always have carry on only or check it with airport check in at Disney. :scared:
TIA!

Most car services will do 2 hours pre departure time for your pickup as default (which is what we do, and we’re usually checking bags). You can request an earlier pickup if you’d like more time. We’re Clear and Pre Check and a 2 hour pickup has always been plenty of time, in our travels.

You probably know this, but in case you don’t, you can still use Resort Airline Checkin at BLT (it’s really more outside of CR) even if you’re not using DME.

Hope that helps!

Yeah, unfortunately this trip is not Delta for us, flying Frontier. :(
I wanted a nonstop flight that went to MCO, not SFB, for the grandboys' first flight.
Not a lot to choose from out of Iowa. And, Spring Break flights, I drove us down last Spring Break, so I got a little sticker shock this year. Good thing it's not my entire crew going this time. :faint:
Thanks for the info, as always!!

Ahh yes, good point, a participating airline in RAC is needed for my statement to be totally accurate! :-)

As for how long from flight arrival until at BLT, it’s sort of tough to peg with the variables of how long to deplane, how long to get bags, etc. I’ve never actually timed it exactly, but with a car service it’s usually a pretty quick. From getting off the plane, 10ish mins to get to the main terminal, 10-20 to get your bags. Car services park a level below baggage claim so it’s a quick elevator ride to the car once you have bags in hand. Then 30-40ish mins to BLT assuming no major traffic. My guess is most of our times with a car service we’ve been on property in 60’ish mins or less from when the plane lands, under most circumstances.

I see no issue with a 4pm ADR, although there will probably be people here who say don’t plan things like that for arrival days, plan instead for delays, etc.

Have fun!

Don’t forget most car services will give you a 15min stop at Publix to pick up snacks and drinks. We have used Tiffany’s the last couple of trips and have been pleased with the service.

I would say you're looking at ~60-75 from when you step off the plane to getting dropped off at your resort using a car service. As mentioned, 10 minutes to get to baggage claim, 20 minutes to get your bags, 5 minutes to get to the car, 35 minute drive.

So you should be at your resort by ~2:30. Add 30 minutes to check in and get your bags to your room and 15 minutes to walk to MK, and you're at the gates at 3:15. That's an hour leeway. BUT, if there are flight delays or luggage delays, that can rapidly eat into the time. That's why many people don't plan things for arrival days.
