Car service just cancelled…Uber from LAX?

I booked a car service 3 months ago from LAX to our hotel across from Disneyland. I just got an email cancelling my reservation saying they don’t have a driver! I’m livid! I called a couple of other places and of course they ha e no availability. Is it possible to get an Uber? Can they even come and pick you up at the terminal?
 
Oh my goodness that is not good I would be livid as well.

I hope it wasn't one of the well know places that get recommended often.

I have heard of people taking an Uber but I'm not sure of the details you may have to walk to a area to catch your ride.
 
Can you share the name of the company that canceled? That way, if anyone else is booked with them, they’d have the opportunity to book elsewhere. Or at least be aware of the potential for cancellation of their own ride.

Thank you, I think I have secured another ride service. I spoke to them on the phone to verify so I should hopefully be good! The one that cancelled on me was 24/7 ride. I had used them just this past summer when we had a layover in LA and wanted to spend a few hours in Santa Monica. They were great then, picked us up right outside baggage claim and got us back to the airport on time. I was shocked by last nights message that they were cancelling my ride.
 
I landed at Terminal 1 at LAX last week and they had spots for Uber pickup right in front of the terminal.

From the Uber website,
“For curbside pickups at LAX, select UberBlack, UberBlack SUV, or Lux.
For UberX, XL, Comfort, Select, or Pool, walk or shuttle to LAX-it. Look for LAX-it signage in the terminal to identify where shuttles are available.”
 
*Update* We had wonderful service with our last minute shuttle! I was extremely nervous last night because I booked in incredible haste after 24/7 cancelled. I booked with someone called Jayride just because the first 2 places I looked had no availability and Jayride offered a private shuttle for 136. I booked without looking into it. My confirmation said the shuttle company was Lotus and had an email listed with numerous random letters and numbers. I read terrible reviews of Jayride being a scam. I was incredibly nervous this morning and called the lotus number to see if they did in fact have a reservation for me. The guy could not have been more helpful and assured me he would be there. We landed at 6:45 and got off the plane shortly after 7:00. While we were waiting for our luggage he called and I told him we would be out as soon as we got our bags. He said to give him a call and let him know what number we were by when we got outside. I called and he was there in 3-4 minutes. He dropped us at our hotel on Harbor at 8:01! Less than an hour after we had stepped off the plane. I don’t know that I would ever trust Jayride again after reading the terrible reviews but we were very happy with the Lotus guy they set us up with! Such a relief after being cancelled on!
