Car Selection in Tampa

We've decided to fly in and out of Tampa this December because SW flights are about half the price !!!

I'm not having a lot of luck finding information on the car selection at TPA for Alamo and National. I've rented several times at MCO, but my understanding is that Tampa is different. Does anyone have recent experience with renting here and if so, what did you see as far as car selection?

At MCO, if you reserve a standard, you pick from full size. Is the same true at TPA? Are the car classes the same?

Just now saw this post. We are Emerald Club (National) Flew into TPA last OCT for the same reasons and are doing it again this Dec because it was so much cheaper than MCO! SW doesn't even fly direct to FL from CLE any longer. We are going AirTran out of CAK instead. When we got to the aisle (reserved midsize can get any car in the aisle deal) we ended up with a kia sorrento crossover. Only about 89 miles on it. It was nice. TPA is a great airport, while probably not the selection like MCO, the car rental is close to baggage claim and the airport isn't so gargantuan like MCO. Check out flyertalk.com and they have a lot of info about the different airports and what is on the AISLE.
