Car Selection for National at WDW?

Anyone know if they usually have a pretty good selection of card at the on site locations at WDW - either the Dolphin or the Car Care Center? And anyone used the "Meet and Greet" from the car care center? We're going for 9 days in Feb and I can get a great 1 week rate, but as soon as I add the extra two days it goies out of site. I'm hoping to end up with one of those Free Rental Day coupons from the National promotion and figure if I use that to get from airport on to WDW, I can live one day without a car then do a weekly rentla with a drop at MCO? Anyone rented from the on site place before. Does Emerald Club get you a possibility of any free upgrades?

We havew used it from both the car care center and the swan/dolphin. DH usually gets a van so I dont know how big the selection is. He has done the courtesy shuttle from the car care center. You need to reserve it like 1 day ahead I think and there are specific times like 7:30 am until 7 p.m. etc. I know he is a national member etc. He just shows the card, reels off a bunch of discounts codes he has from various professional organizations and takes the lowest price offered. We have arranged this all from the poly front desk. I think they have a phone there dedicated to national etc.
