No.
You might get the odd gate attendant who won't be alarmed by 3 kids without proper restraints, but you've got a 99% chance that they won't let you drive away like that.

What kind of seats do you need ?

Il the child is old enough, you can use an inflatable booster seat like the bubble bum. http://www.bubblebum.co/
As long as the child can properly use the seatbelt (belt comfortably resting on shoulder) then you're fine.
If you need a car seat for a smaller kid (under 3) you'll probably need to rent it or bring it from home.

Take your own or buy 3 to take and leave them in the car at the airport when your coming back. you can buy booster seats for £4.99 each :thumbsup2

We take ours but they are big ones as our girls are three, this year only boosters needed as will be four and will will take ourown

I would take your own - they generally only have full seats or booster cushions to rent.

We take DD high back booster with us as we tend to head to the coast and I wouldn't want her on a long journey with just a basic booster (she is 4 1/2). If we were just staying around Disney I would have been tempted with a basic booster or boosterapak.

We also have 2x bubble bum seats for our two x Trunki also do back pack seats with storage which children can double up as carry on luggage x

do they come out of your baggage allowance ? what do u pack them in ??

also aving a dumb day !! ( again ) but we are actually onsite for a week before picking our car up at disney so is there anywhere supermarket etc we could get to easily from disney and just buy them in that 1st week before we pick the car up

We have a car seat bag from Kiddicare - you could get 2 high back boosters in it easily. I think it was about £10.

On Virgin they carry them free in addition to your baggage allowance.

depends on your airline. They have different policies. some will carry it free of charge as a "personnal item" on top of your kid's baggage allowance, some will consider it a second bag. Some will just gate check them as if it were a stroller (but you can't gate check a stroller AND a car seat for the same passenger.

Closest supermarkets where you can buy a car seat are located on US192 or on 535

On US192 you have 2 super target. One East of the property (quite a ride though) and the other one is on the West of the property, past AKL
You also have Walmart which might have a larger and cheaper selection. It's located on 535, halfway between crossroads and US192
Last resort is Sears at Florida Mall
Taking the Lynx to either of those stores will take you at least one hour one way.

An alternate option, if possible, would be to send the driver, alone, to pick up the car while the rest of the crew enjoys the resort. This driver would then proceed to the store, pick up the seats, and then pick up the rest of the party.
bying from walmart, you may want to buy the seats online in advance and choose "store delivery" so that you're assured to find what you want one in the store.

We're trying to decide whether to buy a car seat there or whether to take one with us. We'll be travelling with a 3 month old and with Virgin you can either check a fold up pushchair or a car seat. So if we take a car seat with us we'll have to pay extra, which I think is £32 each way if we pre-pay it. the thing is I'm concerned about it going in the hold and getting thrown around. We actually won't need the car seat at the airport as we're taking ME and picking up the car from the car care center. So I might look at our options for getting from home to the airport, so that we don't need to take a car seat with us.I would say however not to rent car seats from the car hire place because not only are they expensive, but from what I've read they can be dirty and obviously you don't know if they're safe!

lightbulb !! what a good idea !! hahaha he can go get the car then buy the seats!! genius !! thanks !!:worship:

Think about doing this with pushchairs as well. It was cheaper for us to pick one up in Target $25 than it was to hire one for a day. Left it there, no dragging it through the airport etc. that is unless you have teeny, tinies who need to use it for the airport x
