5 y.o. DD and 3 y.o. DS flying for the 2nd time. Not since they were teenie-tiny lil babes! DD is currently in Booster seat; Should I bring Booster seat for her on plane? DS is currently in standard Century Car Seat; should I bring his car seat on plane? We will be renting a mini van in Orlando.

For DD you will likely be safer in the regular seat, and just checking the booster as luggage. For the 3 Yr old DS, it's a coin toss. Ask the airline what they recommend, and have your DS's weight and hieght available. They recommended my DD ride in a regular seat when she was 3; they might recommend you check his car seat as well.

Awefully handy to have the car seats with you when you rent that car tho, and much cheaper than renting theirs, plus, your's are already adjusted to your children's bodies.

Airlines will not let you use a booster unless it has the 5 point harness (like a regular car seat) and is approved by the FAA.

When our son was three, he was really too big to sit in a car seat on the plane, he had no room for his legs. I'd suggest bringing it onboard, trying it out, and get input from the flight attendants. They can always gate check it for you if you decide not to use it on the plane (of course, you have to decide this before the door closes!)
