Hi:

My husband and I will be using the Magical Express Service on our trip in a few weeks. We have a 5 year old and a 2 year old. We are not planning to bring our car seat on the plane for the 2 year old. Does anyone know if a 2 year old can ride on the Magical Express bus without a car seat? Is it safe to do so? Any help is appreciated.

nope - you do not need one on the buses

I rode it with my 2 yo in October -

Welcome to the DIS boards!!!! You are going to find a ton of great info here. As far as those Disney buses go...they are very safe. Both the regular buses as well as the DME buses.

You couldn't use the carseat even if you wanted to. There are no seatbelts - so no way to attach a seat. We did use the carseat on the plane for our two year old, and then it was just stored under the bus with the carry-on luggage for the ride to the resort. The little guy just sat on my lap for the bus ride.

Thank you so much to everyone for your quick responses. I have been going to WDW on a regular basis since I was a little girl. This is our first big Disney trip with the kids. We are exicited! Thanks again for the help and information.
