Car Seat & Rentals

Hi,

I'm taking care of reservations for my boss's trip in February. Are the car seats clean and in good condition when you rent them? Do all rentals have car seats?

We've rented cars from National (2002) and Budget (2004). The first time we decided to bring our own car seat after a long debate. After we arrived I was glad we did. I saw the car seats in a pile on the garage floor. Did not look very clean either.

The second time we bought two car seat bags and checked them in as luggage. Our three year old was fine in a seat by herself. Our one year old slept the whole trip with my wife. I installed the seats myself at the airport when we arrived. Glad I brought my own.
