we booked transportation from john Wayne airport. I chose the shuttle option. Am I going to need car seats for my kids on this shuttle? Should I call and try to switch to a bus? (If that's even an option).
Yes if your child age and height requires a car seat/booster then they will need to use one. I know some shuttle companies provide them. We are using Lanskey and they will provide one for us. Other shuttles do not and will not transport you unless you have one or pay a fee for one.
I believe the bus like Disneyland express do not require a car seat. (not 100% sure)
I prefer using my own car seats anyway. I believe in CA you need a car seat until you're 8. Many kids still fit in ff with the straps at 8. I don't know why so many people switch to booster just because of an age.
Unless you are on the Disneyland Express bus...you will need to provide your own car seat or specifically request car seat be provided with the shuttle/car service you are booking with if they even offer that as an available option.
