Great pictures! I love the second to last shot of Madeline w/the CM and her saber that expression is priceless!!! OK since we missed everything in DHS where is that great set for the toy story characters...I love Andy's bed that is sooooo cute!!!
:wave2:

I love that she corrected the CM's star wars trivia.:lmao: Way to start her young in the ways of the force! I'm sure you were both very proud.

Looks like you had a wonderful trip!!! I love the Alice dress on her. It is adorable!

I am definately putting that condo on my list for the next time we go. I want to see pool pictures again. There's a pirate ship play area, right? Cool!

Looking forward to more updates!

We did have a wonderful trip. Pool pictures will be coming up on Tuesday's update. :)

Wow what a Condo! The view is beautiful!
Maddi looks so cute in her Alice dress!
It looks like she had so much fun!

Thanks she did have so much fun most of the time.

the meet n greet is right across from toy story mania.

We were laughing that she corrected the cm. Madeline is very bold. I found her a pink yoda shirt at Old Navy yesterday. She can't wait to wear it!

Day 2 part 2
On the way out of MGM we debated back and forth about going back to the condo vs. heading over to Epcot. MGM was open til 9pm this night so we decided to just take the boat over to Epcot since Madeline was on the verge of sleeping. We figured she'd fall asleep in the car if we left and would wake up when we tried to move her to bed. We got lucky and a boat was pulling in just as we got into the boat line.

Madeline got comfy
196.jpg

and soon fell fast asleep.

We arrived to a VERY busy World Showcase. In May I had missed out on seeing England and Canada so those were our first stops. Mary Poppins was out but Madeline was sleeping so we didn't meet her. We walked around England a little bit and then headed to Canada.
206.jpg

224.jpg

We roamed around for a few minutes then decided to see the Canada movie. I loved it! Madeline woke up during the movie and enjoyed it too, or at least she didn't complain about it ;)

Our next stop was the stores at the beginning of World Showcase. I needed to get some passports. So went to the one on the Canadian side. No luck they were sold out. While I went to check the other store Madeline and Eric made a couple more pressed pennies. I obtained the elusive passports and we headed into future world.
237.jpg

241.jpg

Madeline wanted to play in the fountain but would only stand on it when no water was coming out. Oh well at least she stayed dry.

We headed over to Test Track. We got fast passes cause the wait was about 45 minutes. Fast passes were for around 6pm. We then saw the single rider line wait was only 5 minutes. So I sent Eric on the ride. Madeline and I decided to get a snack while we waited. She got her first Mickey Bar.
249.jpg

252.jpg

261.jpg

Eric showed up just as Madeline's Mickey Bar dropped off the stick so he got to have a little snack too. We cleaned her up and then I headed to Test Track single rider while I sent Eric to take M for a potty break and then head to Innoventions.

When I caught back up with them, they were here:
273.jpg

it was some kind of disaster preparedness game. They had totally missed the paper making. We then headed over to the other building and did some fire drills.
279.jpg

280.jpg

and then headed over to the great piggy bank adventure and learned all about diversification, lol.
282.jpg

285.jpg

286.jpg

287.jpg

we then got ourselves a velcro frog.

Next up was the long awaited Nemo ride
292.jpg

294.jpg

296.jpg

We walked right on. I'm still trying to figure out how the current layout of the line fits into the old layout. Madeline enjoyed the ride and then spotted the escalator. We couldn't do anything else until we rode that up. We spotted some dolphins and then headed down the escalator. She now gave her permission to go see Bruce.
298.jpg

she played around there for a bit. Turtle Talk with Crus was up next. I didn't realize they had all those rays back there. We didn't see this show last time.
301.jpg

Before the show started Madeline kept shouting "we want Crush" over and over. Luckily she settled down as soon as he showed up.

We had one more ride to go on for the day. Imagination. Oh how I miss the old ride. I even miss the moving walkway to get onto the ride. Is it just me or did they move the entire load area for the ride in the redo?
306.jpg

After the ride Madeline was chosen for a picture.
307.jpg

It was supposed to get emailed to us but we never recieved it. It's too bad because it was really cute. She had to make muscles (she'd never done that before) and the picture was of Spaceship Earth on her back. I didn't react fast enough to take the picture myself either. This is all I have. :(
311.jpg

While Eric collecter our stroller, Madeline and I went to play with the fountains.
315.jpg

323.jpg

The whole area was so desserted. It made me sad as it was my favorite part of Epcot as a kid.

It was time to go but on the way out Madeline had to do this:
329.jpg

332.jpg

We then headed to the boat dock.
342.jpg

337.jpg

We took a couple of pictures on the boat ride back. The sun was setting during our ride.

you're under 3 months now! Are you still working? I can't remember when your last day was going to be.

What a great start to your trip! Can't wait to read more!

Denise

Thanks. I'm uploading pictures now!

Day 3, Tuesday, October 20th

Tuesday was our MNSSHP day so we didn't make any plans for the morning. Our resort had daily activities so we chose to do one today. At 9am they had Wee Ones Safari. We headed down to the boat dock and met 1 other little girl for the safari. The staffe member led the kids on a hunt for some stuffed animals.

002-1.jpg

Madeline loved the game and her new little friend that she now refers to as her sister (breaks my heart)
003-2.jpg

004-1.jpg

Madeline got some treasure when the safari was over. Throughout the week whenever you played the games they gave you treasure to redeem at checkout.

I wish we would have exchaned emails with this family. They were so much fun.

Madeline was dressed for swimming so we said goodbye to our new friends and got changed ourselves. Here is the wonderful pool. This one is for the littler kids. The other pool had a big water slide and huge splash pad area. Well not really a splash pad it had water canons and big buckets that dumped water ect. The resort also had basketball and volleyball courts, a mini golf course, a bbq area, a health club and 2 different pool bars with lots of food. Anyway, here are the pool pictures

Madeline had a lot of fun. We had to force her to go down the slides but after she went she liked it and went a bunch more times. We also hopped over to the other pool so Eric could try out the water slide. This day was still kind of chilly, especially at about 10am so we didn't play in the splash area (the water was FREEZING!).

I wish I would have taken a picture of the hot tubs. They were THE biggest hot tubs I've ever seen. They were Y shaped and could have fit at least 30 people. After a while I left Eric and Madeline to play and I went back to the condo to do some dishes. I collected the family at about noon for some lunch. We then put Madeline down for her nap so she could rest up for the nights festivities.

Up next: A very special "first" for Madeline.

I'm here!

Looks like you all had a great trip thus far. Your daughter is deifinitely a cutie and cracks me how Star Wars-trained she's already become.

:thumbsup2

The Wee Ones Safari is such a cool idea for little ones. The pool looked and sounded like a lot of fun!

I just came across your trip report and started reading it because we were there from 10/17-10/24. I was amazed because so far we were in alot of the same places at the same time! We did Chef Mickey's on Sunday evening at five. On Monday we opened Hollywood Studios with Toy Story and then the girls and I went to Playhouse Disney and Little Mermaid while my husband did Rockin Roller Coaster. I will have to check the backgrounds of my pics to see if you are in them! I'm looking forward to the rest of your report

I'm signing on! We're back from our weekend trip from October 17-19 (didn't see ya there!) and my TR is done...so I'm trying to read all the TRs I can to pass the time until our trip in December. :thumbsup2

Great updates so far, can't wait to hear more about your trip. popcorn::

YOU WERE RIGHT!!! THE POOL AND THE ENTIRE RESORT IS AWESOME!!!:yay:
I highly recommend the resort. It's SO close to Sea World too and can't be far from Universal either although we never saw Universal.

yes I am VERY sick of hearing about Star Wars. Makes Eric happy though. I'm glad you joined in. I was starting to wonder where you were. :thumbsup2

It was very cute. I felt kind of bad for the other little girl though cause Madeline kept running ahead and finding all the animals.

Oh how fun! Were you guys dressed up at all for Chef Mickey's? We were sitting right by the right side of the buffet. Did you see the guy dressed as the Mad Hatter? I think his whole part was dressed as characters from that movie. I was sort of surprised at how many people that were going to the party that night were at the restaurant instead of at the party. I guess they didn't know they could get in at 4 ;)

I need to go read your TR.

We've had a busy weekend here with trick or treating. Maybe I'll put another update up today, maybe not. If not I'll do it tomorrow.

Tuesday Oct. 20 part 2
With nap time concluded we got Madeline dressed in her Belle costume and headed out to the Magic Kingdom. We were aiming to get there right at 4pm so we could get in with our party tickets. We parked in one of the dwarves (the farthest out lot they were parking in that day), hopped on the parking tram, and then hopped a monorail to the entrance. We arrived at the Magic Kingdom probably about 3:50 or so. We got through bag check and they were already letting party goers in! YAY! We had something very special planned for when we got into the park.

We walked by the band playing.
020.jpg

and headed straight to
024.jpg

We were going to get Madeline's first hair cut done. There was no one in line in front of us, just a couple of people already getting beautified (a couple of boys, lol) So while we waited I took a couple of before pictures.
022.jpg

023.jpg

Madeline was SO excited to be getting her hair cut. Soon it was our turn. I must say 4pm is the perfect time to get this done.
A couple of more before pictures
025.jpg

026-1.jpg

and during
027-1.jpg

They gave her some stickers to keep her busy but she didn't need them. She was enjoying being treated like a princess. And boy did they make her feel like one. They gushed and gushed over her. I only had them trim a small amount off. I'm not ready for the short hair yet but the small amount really made a difference (although I might be the only one that can tell)
028.jpg

with the Mickey Ears she got for her first haircut
030.jpg

then I had them put her hair in a pony tail and she got to get pixie dusted. I declined the color streaks.
031.jpg

032-1.jpg

Here is her reveal
033.jpg

034-1.jpg

They gushed over her some more. They even took some pictures on their camera to show the big wigs. They said that she might end up in some of their literature. Although she used her new "smile" so I doubt she will. You'll see what I'm talking about soon.
036.jpg

THAT is what she decided constituted a "smile". Ah well she really did LOVE it. I dont' think we'll ever take her to BBB. This was so much more quant and personal, plus it was only $14.95 or something.

Now it was time to get in some rides before the party. When we left the barber shop Eric says "I don't feel so good". My heart sank. How will this effect our night? Stay tuned.

We were sitting behind the dessert area. I did see the Mad Hatter and his party. I was thinking the same thing about how many people were wasting their time eating instead of partying!

ok so we were sitting in opposite sections of the restaurant. Did you guys get to open the park? All of your siggy pictures look amazing!

I was a couple of updates behind but am all caught up now. Madeline's new haircut looks absolutely adorable on her. Don't blame you for not going to BBB and opting for the Barber Shop. Much better deal.:thumbsup2
