Car Repairs

I hate car repairs! I always feel sooo clueless when I call & try to explain my problem.....and even more clueless when they try to tell me how they fixed it.


So my car's making this clunking, thumping noise up front - in the tire area, both sides. It doesn't happen all the time, mostly over bumps, around bends & when I slow to a stop. Is that a good enough explanation to give the mechanic?? Is he gonna think I'm looney? My car is ALWAYS in the shop & I think they're sick of me.


All I care about is.....Is it covered under my warranty?
I drive a 2007 Jeep Compass....it was officially declared a LEMON, but due to a "legal loophole" I'm stuck with it.


My next hubby better be a mechanic.

the best thing to do is test drive it with them and hope it happens while the mechanic is in the car with you. Which it rarely does...

Believe it or not, these guys are pros and can figure it out. Trust me, they are not sick of seeing you. They get paid, warranty or not.
