Car Rentals

We're going home in 13 days to OKW, but I am having a real problem with getting go car rental rates. In the past, I have been able to get some good deals, but I have been checking rates for months and there's been no break. I thought I remembered a link to car rental discounts, but can't seem to find it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help.

I just scored a mid-size in June for $25 per day. I found this rate on priceline.com. The internet rate for Avis was some $20 more per day for the vehicle. I was very pleased with my rate but be careful as priceline bills your credit card immediately and you CANNOT cancel once you commit.

I tried to find the best deal through all the avenues. Priceline gave me a great deal. $27 a day for a 9 day rental on a premium car. Couldn't find anything within $10 a day of this price for a larger car. I tried my gold cards, my frequent flyer discounts, company discount, and about a half dozen other routes and could only find the off site places that came close, until you added a single day over the full weekly rate. The single day rates really get you. You can bid real low on priceline and may get what you want.

We fly into Sanford, so priceline doesn't work for us Right now our best rate for late May is a compact for $250 for 11 days. It's from Dollar, coupon code FVG, which will work on compact or larger.
