i HAVE A RESERVATION WITH DOLLAR AND JUST MADE A BACK UP RESERVATION WITH ALAMO. HAS ANYONE USED ALAMO? WE WILL BE DROPPING THE CAR OFF AT WYNDHAM PALACE, HOW FAR IS THIS FROM DOWNTOWN DISNEY? RENTED A COMPACT FROM BOTH. WHAT KIND OF CARS DO THEY HAVE ON THEIR LOT FOR COMPACTS?

Wyndham Palace is right across the street from Dowtown Disney. We rented a compact in April 2000 and it was a Chevy Cavalier. Nothing special, but fine. It is very hard to cross the street between DD and Wyndham Palace. You may want to take one of their resort busses to the parks.
