Car Rentals thru Budget

Hi All,

Just got back from Disney.
We rented a car from Budget by using Airmiles to reduce the cost.
When we went to the counter at MCO to pickup our car the lineup was crazy!
It was almost 9pm on Monday Feb 24th.
It took 2 hours and 15 minutes to get our car.
They seemed to have run out of everything regardless of previous bookings.

Anyone else ever have such an issue??

We have rented from Budget many times and never had any issues. We joined their Fastbreak club and walked out to the garage and went to the kiosk there to pick up our keys. There was at the most one family in line on front of us.

Yes we experience very very long line. While in line I called Budget joined the Fast Break club. I send DH out to the Fast Break check in counter located in the garage then I held our place in the long line in case he was not able to get the car do to the fact I just added it to our acct. Within 5-10 minutes DH came said it worked and we got our car.

As more and more people learn the fastbreak trick, the line will just move from the terminal to the garage.

Last year my mom had an issue with them. Rented a compact for the fuel economy and ease of parking, was told they only had one car left and to take it or wait until something else was returned. They put her in a Ford Expedition EL. She said it was nice, and that my teenage sisters each got their own TV screens but it was massive and she averaged 13 MPG.
