I was in BJ's today and noticed some car rental coupons. Anyone ge tsome good deals using them?

Yes!!! I would never rent from Budget without my BJ's card. My last car rental from Philly, was like $9 a day after all the coupons and the discounted rate. The lady at the counter and also on the phone were quite impressed. I do check my reservation though once a week, as my price has dropped at least 3x so far.

I go directly through Budget...If you go to the BJ's website, it should have the coupon codes listed there that you can input on the site for the Corp Rate. The coupon is inputted at the end, and MUST be shown at the counter.

I usually try all the sites to find the best deal. Shop around. Never stick to just one company!!

DAX..do you know when they come out with coupons for next year? I need to reserve for April 2007.

Honestly, the coupons for this year are the same as last year. You could just book now, then just re-book later when the coupons come out if need be. With your ressie being so far out, you probably will end up changing it multiple times anyway. They may not take your ressie this soon...

All of the companies will take the res, just not the coupon. Maybe I will jsut secure the vehicle and add the coupon later on.

What is the BJ card? I can't seem to get my rate lower than $200 for August. HELP!!!!!!! :)

BJs is a warehouse club similar to Sam's Club. You must be a member to use their discounts. Unfortunately we don't have BJs around this area. We are members of Sam's and they also have car rentals. If you are a Sam's Club member go to their web site and check their rates.

Or, another option...If you have a Sears credit card you can also book a car through Sears via Avis. Go to the Sears website and click on Specialty Stores. Go to Car Rentals. It will link you to Avis' site. Plus they have discounts offered only to Sears cardholders. Don't know if any of this helps you or not. :confused3

We always rent with those discount codes. I usually find the best deal through Alamo. Got a midsize for 8 days (mid Sept) pickup/drop off at MCO for $154 including taxes. Did the same thing last year and kept checking back, final price last year was $127.

Would much prefer renting for a couple of days picking up at the Dolphin, but the rates have been double of MCO.
