Car rentals at Disney Resorts

Good Disney day all you Mouseketeers,
Sorry for posting so many posts but I have another question. As mentioned in one of my posts we are going to be staying at All Star(Moives) in August. We will be using the Magical Express from the airport and return but wonder if there are any car rentals on the property (just in case we want to take a day to say go to Daytona or Tampa) Many thanks, Danny

There are several car rental companies in some hotels in DTD.

It's my understanding that you desire a car for a day or two, there a few Alamo locations on-site. You can request this at your resort and either Alamo will pick you up there or the resort can get you to the Car Care Center (CCC) where you can rent a car. Also, there is an Alamo desk inside the Dolphin resort which is on property.

If at all possible, I would recommend figuring out which day(s) you would like a car for and making the reservation in advance.

We stayed at Pop Century this February. We rented a car for the last 3 days we were there. We rented it from alamo at the Disney Car Care Centre. They picked us up at our hotel and then once we returned the car they dropped us back off at the hotel. The Car Care Center is right beside the Magic Kingdom so it was very easy to find. We drove around Orlando and also went to Daytona Beach which we loved as we were able to take in a Nascar Race. You can also drive right on the beach which was awesome!
