car rental

My wife will need a car for a couple hours on January 7th. She needs picked up at the Port Orleans Riverside resort in Disney World, FL, and will need to return it late that night.

Any car rental places out there that will drop the car off at the hotel, and then come pick it up at the hotel?

I don't know of any that will do that, but Alamo has a location right near the entrance to Magic Kingdom. They will pick you up and take you to agency to rent the car and will give you a ride back to the POR after you return the car. I believe either the Swan or Dolphin has a car rental located in them, so you could take disney transportation to them to get a car.

I didn't realize there were agencies on property. Anyone know what the companies are at the swan or dolphin? I guess we could keep the car over night, but i'd prefer if she could drop it off saturday too.

Alamo is at the Dolphin hotel

don't know but I used Alamo and the shuttle picked me up at the hotel and I dropped off at the airport.

Both the Car Care Center and the Dolphin have an Alamo/National counter - you can rent from either. The shuttle bus will pick up from a resort or park and drop you off at either after returning the car if you book at the Car Care Center. I think you have to use Disney transportation if you use the Dolphin counter. The Dolphin has more limited hours, closing at 4pm, but you can drop off with the valet if you are returning after closing.
