Anyone know of any great deals on renting cars or mini-vans. We are going until August but want to try to get the best deal.

Try L&M Car Rental out of Orlando.. 1/2 the price quoted to us for the same car as a national car rental company,plus they don't charge for extra driver if you are married. They have a website, but try Orlando Car Rental L&M in google.

I would suggest checking the rental codes at MouseSavers.com - Discounts on Rental Cars and also at RentalCodes.com . You can also get pretty good coupons from Entertainment.com .

Read the transportation board for more discounts and ways to apply them. They can also tell you which rental companies have cars right at the airport and which have offsite locations. You might also want to do a search regarding the reputations of each company. So are very high pressure at the counter when you want to decline the optional insurance.

I actually like National. I'm a member of the Emerald Club, so I can skip the counter and go directly to the garage to choose my car. Emerald Club members do not pay a fee in order to have their spouse drive the car. You can get a free membership thru a link on MouseSavers.com - Emerald Club .
