Car rental?

I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice about car rental? We'll be in Disneyland the last week of May and then we're renting a car to drive to San Diego and stay there for a week at a place we rented near the beach. We're staying at the Embassy suites south. Is there any rental place near our hotel that you know of or are all the rental places in downtown disney? Do you know what rental place is best or have you had a bad/good experience with any of them?

There's a Budget office not too far north of Embassy Suites on Harbor Blvd, and several others around DLR. There's only one rental place in DTD. Use Google maps and enter "rental cars anaheim" to get an idea of locations. I'd also suggest checking for discount codes on mousesavers.com.

We rented a car from Enterprise for 1 day while we were there. They picked us up from the hotel and brought my husband back when he dropped it off. It was the one on Katella. They were great.

There is an Alamo in downtown Disney! Just found it, was so excited.

There's a car rental place in the lobby of the BW park Place Inn.

We have used http://www.carrentals.com/ and have saved a ton compared to other sites. We used them in Phoenix twice and paid about $8 a day.

Wow, I just did a quick check on www.carrentals.com and the prices are super cheap. It also says no credit card needed for the reservation. Is there any risk by going with them? It just seems too good to be true!
