Hello,
I just booked a 10 day rental for 217.00 using the American Express website. We are going to WDW in 2 weeks!
I will also check again every day 3 days before we go since last year the rates changed the day before and I paid 175.00 for the same 10 days
not a bad deal at all if you ask me ;)

If you have amex, sign up for premium car protection. Its free, 25 bucks per rental ( if you use your amex card) and, unlike cdw or the normal amex, is PRIMARY insurance ( which means if you have to make a claim for damage, not liability your insurance company never needs to know)

For you it would be 2.50 a day for 100 000 in damage coverage, no deductable.

Thanks but I never pay extra for insurance because all of my cars have full coverage. I just call my agent to let him know as I was instructed to do the last time that we rented, but thanks for the information!

If you have zero deductible, its not worth it, but 2.50 a day for 100k damage loss is a good deal. Plus your premiums won't go up if you have to make a claim.

If you have a Gold AMEX or higher, car insurance is free if you use the card for the rental.
