Car Rental/Transportation ?

I think I have decided (after pouring over these boards) to rent a car from Budget at MCO...drive the port area...stay at the Raddison...return the car and take the Budget shuttle to the port

We will be travelling with a baby. My question is this (finally ): I don't suppose these shuttles have any type of car seats. Do folks travelling with wee ones pack their carseats from home? Is that even feasible? I had about decided to use the carseat from Budget (major reservations there, but don't know about lugging a carseat around!

Many people take their car seat. You can see if your room Steward can store it while on board or just put it in the closet - I would just put it in the closet or somewhere in the room.

When you arrive at the port you could have it checked with the rest of your luggage.

One question...Aren't you taking a car seat for the airplane? How are you traveling to MCO? I never traveled without the carseat for the baby to travel in. So much easier on the plane. I wouldn't use Budget's car seat. They are usually very old and I'm not sure they sanitize it like a MOM would. How about if your DH drops you off at the port and then HE returns the car?
