Do you need to have your rental back exactly on the dot of the time you rented it. Doing they give you any leeway--extra hour.

We want to get our car around 9-9:30 in the morning. The earlier the better. The return will be after our Disney cruise and we are not for sure we will be back to the airport by 9:30.

Thanks for any help.

They usually have a 59 minute grace period, after which they charge you by the hour until it gets to a day rate (usually after two hours).

Thanks so much.

We are leaving in just a couple hours and I keep thinking of things I need to find out!

Have a safe and WONDERFUL trip. :)

Just a heads up:

You do not have the automatic right to keep a car past the due date and time just because there is an extra day rate and extra hour rate quoted.

If you absolutely positively cannot return the car on time, you should call in advance and let the rental company know. This will at least keep you from be charged with stealing or detaining the car, and will usually result in but not guarantee that the overtime rate will be no greater than that quoted.
