Car Rental Questions

Going for a quick visit to see "The Mouse" in Sept. I've always used Avis Car rental, never had any problems with them at all. But in doing some checking, I can save around $35.00 using my Disney Club Discount and going with Alamo. What are your experiences with Alamo? And they are located in the airport terminal now aren't they? I guess I'm hesitant to change since I've always had such good luck with Avis - but hey...that $35.00 could be well spent in the parks!

I have never had a problem with Alamo (ok once and that was a really small issue that was taken care of the same day), they are now located at the terminal.

We've used Alamo twice after getting good deals via Priceline, and we've never had a problem with them. The cars were a bit more beat up than Avis, but they ran just fine. The line at the counter moved rapidly, and although they offered the extras, they didn't try to pull a hard sell. About the only real negative is that you have to check in at the counter and then do MORE paperwork while driving out. With Avis, you get your papers at the counter, get your key in the garage, and then immediately leave without waiting in any other lines.
