Car rental question

Flying into Dallas next week on a Wed for work, I will basically be done either on Thursday or Sunday, won't know til I get there.. Do I want to book it for one day or four days and then adjust if I need to??? Guessing use Alamo

I would book for the longest period you might need. Your rental fee will be adjusted if you turn in early; don't be surprised if you end up paying more than you anticipated. Short term rentals are more expensive than long term.
