car rental/planning question?

Hi

I'm in the planning stages of our trip for next month. Did a quick decision to spend some time at Universal (not just Disney) and am planning to stay at the Hard Rock at the front end of our trip. Now, I'm just thinking about taking airport transportation and getting a car when we are leaving the Hard Rock. I'm thinking we probably won't need one while we are there. Is there a rental car agency on site and has anyone done this, where they've rented a car at the resort and then returned it to the airport? We are coming in on a redeye and we'll be exhausted so maybe better to just get a shuttle. I don't know, can't decide. Any input from anyone?

Hertz onsite (little ka-ching tho)

We use the Budget across the highway at the Holiday Inn Universal. DBIL usually takes DH over to pick it up, but I DO believe they have the "pick you up" service....think the code there is M04
