Wow.... it pays to check your car rental frequently.... I love the carrentalsavers site..... I always find my best deals there.... just looked at my upcoming trip(within a few days) and rebooked the SAME car, etc, price dropped from 233 for the week to 121:cool1: (non disney trip) I was shocked to see it, but I'm thrilled! More $$ for food!:cool1:

Is it ok to book several reservations and then cancel the ones you don't want? We are still unsure of what airports we are flying into and back out of for our Aug California trip. And I want to make sure I have good rates for all scenarios...:happytv:

This is true in my experience....rates will usually drop about 2 weeks/10 days before the rental begins.

Ours was similar in price to yours....went from $220 something to $108.

Yes you can book and re-book cancelling the unwanted rezzies as long as you don't pre-pay. The pre-paid rezzies usually have a change or cancellation fee whereas a regular rezzie can be cancelled pretty much right up to departure date.
I check my dates frequently right up until departure date. If the price drops, I book a new reservation then go back and cancel the old one. Sometimes you can modify your existing rezzie and get the better price (but doesn't always get the new lower rate)
