Car rental in December

I'm currently trying to reserve Dollar for 12/15-12/22. With 7 we need a minivan. I tried the FVG and KISS codes I used last time, but the price is coming back 329.99 / wk. I realize it's Dec. but it IS before the xmas crush. Any ideas?

try try and try again. and try all the companies. have you tried using hotwire? priceline? and expedia?

Thanks Beverly. I'm not brave enough to try priceline since I absolutely must have a minivan large enough for 7 people. I had heard they only guarantee seating for 5. Still true ???

Anyway, I was wondering if there is some reason the codes are not bringing up the lower prices? For now I'll just keep trying and hoping.

Recently (the last few days) I've gotten better rates from Dollar without any code.
