Car rental- Has anyone done suppliers choice?

What car did you end up with?
I was going to do compact to be cheap but decided to spend $2 more for they pick for me. Its Ace rent a car

We did once and ended up with mid-size SUV. This was with Dollar in Phoenix about 3 years ago.

I have done it at MCO, it was with Dollar though - ended up with a compact. I am a Dollar express member, so no preferential treatment. I arrived early (before 10:00 am on a week day) and had the car for a week if that helps any. So maybe if you arrive later in the day you might do better in getting a bigger car.
