Car Rental from Jacksonville

We need to rent a car from Jacksonville Airport that we can return at or near WDW. We are visiting family in the Jacksonville area before staying at BLT and then taking ME to MCO. We want to return the car at the start of our stay at BLT. Any advice?

You can return a National or Alamo rental car to the Car Care Center or to The Dolphin. You can get shuttled back to BLT from the Car Care Center. From the Dolphin, you can catch a bus to a park or walk to DHS or Epcot. It's easy to drop off at the Dolphin, the Valets will take the keys and check in your car for you.

Thank you!! We've returned a car to the Dolphin when we stayed at the Swan, so that's probably the best? Guessing that is the only rental place on "property"? (I know DISers have better info than the WDW site)

You mean you can't drive rental cars in the actual parks?? Zoom from Space Mountain to Splash Mountain?? Sorry... not sure where my brain is tonight! Appreciate the move!

The Car Care Center is near the TTC but I believe you have to get shuttled from there to wherever you are going. I've always dropped off at Dolphin due to the ease of it.

The Car Care Center is closer to BLT where the OP is staying. During business hours, they run a free shuttle that will bring you to your resort or to a park. Unless the Dolphin has some sort of free shuttle service, it's going to be more of a hassle to get back to BLT from there.
