Car rental for drive to Disney

Has anyone rented a car for the drive down? I don't really wish to make this drive in our CRV, but all the rentals I look at have 4200km + 0.18 cents per KM. Has anyone found unlimited mileage to be available? I'm looking at getting a minivan or a deluxe SUV (must seat 6+). Best rate seems to be Costco with Avis coming in at about 1000$ for 2 weeks with 4200km.

We did this for Virginia in July. We rented a car from Buf airport. Alamo was unlimited miles. We r looking to do the same in March but want to fly back. One ways r expensive.

Hmmm I hadn't considered renting the car on the US side of the border, unfortunately I think any money savings will be eaten by having to drive 2 cars there, neither my parents nor I have a car big enough to carry all 6 of us across the border.
