I've made a minor change to our stay in Orlando which has made things a bit more complicated. I won't get into all of the gory details but here's our itinerary:
BC for 8 nights/9 days
RPR at Universal for 3 nights
Miami for 4 nights.
The problem is that we need to get from the BC to RPR. We're a family of 5, so you can imagine the amount of luggage we'll have. I had initially planned to pick up our minivan rental at the Car Care Center and driving to Universal ourselves and then to Miami. I reserved it for 1 week. Now that I've extended our stay to 3 nights at Universal, if we pick up the van on our last day at Disney, the van will just sit in the Universal parking garage at the rate of $6.00 a day until we get ready to move on to our next destination. Would it be better to just get a taxi to take us from BC to RPR? If so, does anyone know what the approximate cost would be? Would it be cheaper to rent the van for 4 days as opposed to a week taking into consideration $24 for parking it?
