Car Rental Deposit

Just wondering how much is the usual rental deposit that you put on your credit card when renting a car at WDW. Here at home it has been $300 in the past.

If you mean a deposit when booking, you normally don't need one.

If you mean a hold on your credit card when you pick up the car, I also think most places do not do that unless you are using a debit card vs. a credit card. Hopefully someone will come along and confirm that, but I've never noticed any held amounts when renting cars in Florida.

There's no deposit when renting a car with a credit card.
