My December rental rate is the exact same as my rental rate for May. I used the Airtran code and the $40. entertainment code. My total price for two weeks is about $450. for a full size.
The November rates are pretty sky high too. I'm trying to book through Alamo because of being able to choose your vehicle. I am however holding an Avis reservation for a SUV for the week before Thanksgiving for $6 cheaper than the Alamo Intermediate ressie.
What codes are you using for the Avis?
Yes, according to Flyer Talk that code is a FL Employee code. I wouldn't use it unless I worked for the state of FL.AWD A113400 which is a code that I probably shouldn't be using since it's one my aunt gave me. She's a state of Florida employee, so I'm a little concerned about it, hence why I'm keeping my Alamo reservation too.

I personally wouldn't risk it, especially in the state of Florida where it is legitimately used and probably SOP to ask for the supporting FL state employee ID. If you were renting in Nebraska they might not be aware of that code and you might be able to fly under the radar. I don't think you will have the same luck in Florida. SorryWOW. That is IT. That is the magic code that I've been dreaming of! Saves me hundreds on teh mini-van I CRAVE for 8 days at Xmas week. BUT, I am not a FL state employee of course. Anyone know if they will ask for proof? I've gone ahead and reserved. If you try it in Nov, please let me know how you do.
