Are there any other companies besides National that have the skip the line feature? For my dates (11/24-12/4) National is outrageous~over $700 this morning for the emerald aisle!

Avis is just under $200+tax for a full size, which is great, but we would love to bypass the couter if we can and would pay a little higher rate. Not $500 though! :rotfl:

TIA!

Budget has Fastbreak at specific locations. I used them in Orlando. The check-in area is in the parking lot. You never have to wait in the regular line that's inside the airport. When I rented, we were the only ones at the Fastbreak desk. Very easy, they looked up my reservation and handed me the keys. They didn't even ask for my driver's lic. or credit card. I highly recommend them. Got a great price with a code from mousesavers. Are you renting in Orlando?

If you are an Avis Preferred member - you go right to the parking garage. I did that last March in Orlando, and it was great.

Dollar has Fastpass. Register your info online beforehand. You still have to go to the counter in the airport, but there's a separate line for fastpass holders. I was in & out in under 5 minutes.

Funny story: When I was going to the rental counter, the area was pretty deserted, except for me & the kids and another man. I could totally tell that he was trying to walk faster in order to get to the counter before me. The lady behind the counter was finishing up with a customer when this man steps into the fastpass line. She looks up and asks him if he's a fastpass member, he says no and she tells him to go into the other regular line. So here I come trailing along with 3 kids & tons of luggage and step right up to the fastpass line. Lady asks me the same question, I answer yes, she finishes up with the other person and calls me up first.. Ha-Ha sucker!! NaNaNaNa!!! I'm so bad!!!!
