Car rental at WDW

Has anyone rented a car for the day from the Car Care Center or the Dolphin? It's my understanding that they will send a shuttle that morning to take us to either place. The problem I have is that I put a 10PM return time in and got a message that the rental desk would be closed at that time. Will a shuttle still be availiable to take us back to POR? I don't want to be stranded.

I'm just looking for some first-hand knowledge from those who've rented before. Thanks!

Hi....the CCC will send a shuttle for you, the Dolphin won't. I'm not sure what you mean about the 10 PM return time. The Dolphin desk closes at 4:00 pm, and the CCC closes at 6:00 pm on Sat/Sun and at 8:00 pm weeknights. You will either have to return your car earlier that day, or the following morning. Once the rental desk is closed, there are no shuttles available.
