Car rental at the Swan

Did I hear that there is a car rental company at the Swam? Is there another one one site? What companys are they? Thanks

Both Alamo and National are available at the Dolphin.

National and Alamo share a desk at the Dolphin (same area as the guest services desk). We used National last time (Easter weekend). Although there was only a few people ahead of us, there was only one person working the desk for both rental companies. It took over 1/2 hour to get to the counter. They then give you a set of car keys and tag that you take to the valet parking desk and a valet brings the car to the door for you.
One question I had, are you supposed to tip the valet for bringing your rental car to the door?

Bringing the car back was another delay. The person on the counter was down at the valet desk so we gave the valet desk our key, then we were told to go up and wait for the report in order to get our receipt. The clerk didn't return for 20 minutes and then we had to wait for the valet to drop the keys and the report off at the desk in order to get our receipt. The clerk told us we could just leave and she would mail us a receipt but we didn't feel comfortable just leaving with nothing in our hands.

Don't get me wrong, we loved the convenience of picking up a rental at the Dolphin. I just think they need at least one more person to staff the desk and things would have gone a lot quicker.
If you are catching a limo or heading to the airport after dropping off your rental, give yourself lots of time.
